Booty Bulk!

Booty Bulk!

This was five years ago, during my first wave of working with booty alchemy.

I had finally cracked the code... the code for my body at the time, that is.

I used to workout a minimum of three hours a day, 6 days a week. It was my life.

If you go back to my second post, you know I've been through a lot since 2015.

During the three years I drank wine, I lost the booty I had built. I lost all that muscle and gained fat.

Trimming down and rebuilding the booty since 2018 over my second wave, and it's a different game now. With gyms closed, there is more focus on my home workouts.

Finding a new alchemy has been key.

I'm older, the booty is wiser. If I can do it, so can you. It's never too late to shape, love, and grow your booty.

Cardio Versus Weight Lifting

©tuesdaymaythomas
The above picture (L) is from during my second wave of booty building. My workout was 'cardio elliptical' and orienting myself to the machines at the gym.....I really wanted to grow a booty.

I don't know about you, butt what I've learned is: cardio is awesome at shedding pounds, though if you're looking to build a booty there will come a point where 'lifting' will outweigh how much time you spend on the elliptical.

At the beginning of my second wave of booty building, I was 168-170lbs. I wanted to drop weight and cardio helped me to do just that.

Though as I worked my butt on the machines in tandem with cardio, my results were minimal to say the least.

Yes, I leaned out, but, so did my Butt! It was difficult to build booty gains. I would always begin my workouts with 20-30 mins on a cardio machine at the gym.

I stopped hopping on the cardio machines as a way to warm up and took to jump squats variations instead! With my new warm-up routine, I then focused solely on lifting weights.

You will certainly get your heart pumping and YES, you can even sweat like a beast when lifting. It's a great way to target your focused body parts and build muscle.

So if you feel like you are doing a bunch of cardio and not seeing results in your bottom half, consider changing up your workout.

You are the nutty professor of your body! You know the results you seek. Now it's time to experiment and see how your body responds to changes in your workout regime. As your body changes, you may find yourself requiring to tweak your workout flow. There are things that always work for you and things you may grow out of, or shift away from as your body changes, and that's ok!

Once you change your workout, it can take up to three weeks until you start seeing a shift in your body, and what you eat has a lot to do with it too. More on that later....

All in all, Be kind to you. It's a journey with roots in Self-love. So keep loving on yourself and build that booty!!♡ Check out and follow my Instagram page!!! @bootysculptress :

4) I've been to hell and back and want you to know, no matter what life hits you with- you can survive and learn to thrive from it all.

Some of you are aware of what I have been through in these past five years. It's been traumatic and deeply healing, to say the least. I stayed fit for some time, then it all went out the window when I started drinking wine EVERYDAY as a way to numb out my feelings (see below). I gained a bunch of weight and then in late 2018, I slowly got back into my fitness groove.

Here is an excerpt from my Insta about it-

Life happens. Under grace, we survive. A brief outline of my booty/body story... 2013, I start working out and met the man of my dreams. We got engaged in 2014! In late 2015 my (then) fiancé attempted suicide and our world fell apart. This was the biggest life crisis I have ever experienced. I started drinking and stopped working out. We went to suicide support group meetings and had to start from scratch. Life was dark. I constantly thought I would come home and find my beloved had taken his life.

We decided to go through with the marriage the following year and performed our own ceremony out in nature. By 2016 I was doing my best to exercise, but I had become addicted to drinking wine. I drank daily & it added pounds. I became lazy & depressed.

Later that year my 'husband' had an emotional breakthrough & disclosed to me the reason he attempted suicide back in 2015 was that he's really 'a woman' in a man's body.

We started going to meetings for trans women and their partners. We even went to weekly therapy sessions at the local lgbtq center. I am grateful for those sessions. We did our best to work through it all and heal our lives.

By mid-2017, we knew the relationship had run its course. We said goodbye and thankfully are still friends.

I had gained 35 lbs, & continued drinking wine daily until late 2018. Since then, I've been on a focused path of healing and renewal...and have finally come full circle!
And you can do it too. Life can throw you into a serious crisis without any warning.
But you are stronger than you know. You can heal. You can forgive yourself and others ...and be free to be you ♡Love, @bootysculptress

I look forward to seeing you on Instagram and sharing from my journey of healing, health, fitness, and growing a booty!
Lots of Love- and thanks for sticking around all of these years
